See the Cajuns of the Bayou living and surviving in harmony with the swamps. Here, the waterways are their highways. From the relaxing comfort of our Covered Swamp Tour Boats, we will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery, and a Fishing village! You may see the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase.

If you choose the airboat option - you will experience the best of both: a swamp tour and an airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat then slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium style seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view. Very informative and worth the money. Both activities filled up our day. Both tour guides were great. Transportation was a plus.

The city bus tour was very good. Our guide was David and he was very knowledgeable about NOLA, as well as entertaining. If this is your first trip to NO then you should take this tour. It helps you learn the layout of the city as well as much of it's history. As for the swamp tour....if you are wanting to see gators in their wild environment take this tour. You WILL see them. We took the airboat and it is fun if you're looking for something different. We had done an airboat ride in the Florida swamps years ago and this was still fun. I feel both of these tours are well worth the money and you can do both of these the same day.

This tour was filled with great historical information! The bus tour guides was very knowledgeable and took us the so many interesting parts of the city! The swamp tour did not disappoint! It actually went above our expectations! We will be back!!

I’m leaving five stars for the Swamp Tour only. The city tour was a bore. Once we got on the small six seat airboat the fun began. We zipped around the swamp and marsh area and our guide found lots of gators. One was 10 feet long and I got to pet its head! This tour company runs a professional operation. I learned a lot about gators and it was tons of fun!

Both tours were very informative. Swamp tour is a good family tour. City tour is great for first timers. The air conditioned bus was great for us. It was hot with high humidity. Bring a sandwich, city tour has a coffee / rest room stop. Then off you go! Swamp tour has long restroom lines and a snack bar, again long line. No time for a meal. Drivers are wonderful, knows how to drive the New Orleans street and where everything is.

Geri informative and interesting. Loved the driver - funny and knew what he was talking about! Great bus. The airboat ride was beautiful and the driver very nice and fun.

The swamp tour was my favorite of all tours I’ve ever done. I wish I could remember our tour guide for the air boat he was awesome . I can’t wait to do it again.

We did the combo city tour and swamp boat ride with transportation. We were very nervous about the transportation as we were being picked up by a parking lot due to checking out of our hotel the day of the tours. Luckily everything went smoothly...picked us up right on time. Both drivers were had were very nice and accommodating. The city tour was very informative and enjoyable for us adults...the 5 year old not so much which was to be expected. The 5 year old perked up with the swamp tour and has since deemed this the highlight of our trip. The boat captain, Reggie, was great. Holding a baby alligator is something I think will be talked about for years in our household.
