Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Brick & Barrel, 1844 Columbus Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113-2412

These breweries are sample itineraries only. All schedules are subject to change. Founded in 2014 by owner and brewer, Karl Spiesman. Karl in the early days briefly thought about opening an Urban Winery instead of brewery. Luckily, he followed his heart and kept making delicious beer. With a love for the local beer scene which rivaled his love of Cleveland, this nano brewery was built brick by brick, and barrel by barrel. Hence the name! With old church pews and a blackboard bar top reclaimed from a defunct schoolhouse in the neighborhood, Brick and Barrel’s industrial feel fits right into the local neighborhood of Columbus Road Peninsula in the Cleveland Flats. Hop on a tour and come see what Karl’s brewing up firsthand with his small but mighty 3.5 barrel brewhouse that cranks out some of our favorite beers in the area.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Terrestrial Brewing Company, 7524 Father Frascati Dr, Cleveland, OH 44102-2087

This team of self-proclaimed hippies decided they wanted a brewpub in Cleveland that focused on the taproom styles of the Northwest, akin to something you’d find in Portland or Seattle. Forget the beer on the shelf, Terrestrial is focused on the here and now, blurring the lines on beer styles, and running a dedicated infusion line. Let our expert beer guides take you behind-the-scenes to show you Terrestrial’s keg-management system which hoists 150-pound kegs and perfectly positions them within the walk-in cooler. It’s like a giant version of those crane games but instead of stuff animals, you can win 15.5 gallons of beer!

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Collision Bend Brewing Company, 1250 Old River Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113, USA

With expansive views, a massive patio and multiple private event spaces, Colissions Bend Brewing is the preeminent destination for fine food and artisan beer in Cleveland. Situated overlooking the Cuyahoga, Collision Bend was named after one of the treacherous U shaped turns in the river where commercial ships got into many accidents from unforeseen incoming ships. Talk about a blind spot! The epitome of industrial modern, their building originally served as a Chandlery where civil war era merchant ships stockpiled before sailing onto the Great Lakes. Nowadays, it’s a better place to stockpile Cleveland brewmaster, Luke Purcell’s tasty beers, and some Southern California street food style meals. While it is difficult to get there by ship, our beer guides are experts at navigating you to this awesome establishment.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Great Lakes Brewing Company, 2516 Market Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113-3434

Two Irish brothers with limited brewing experience. A city that shuttered its last production brewery in the early 80s. A neighborhood in serious need of a facelift. In 1986 when Patrick and Daniel Conway opened their fledgling operation in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, the odds were stacked against them. Fortunately, they surrounded themselves with a staff of passionate, knowledgeable people, and from the start committed themselves to bringing a sophisticated, diverse selection of craft beer to their home state. Two decades, multiple awards, and a whole lot of stories later, Pat and Dan Conway celebrate over two decades of brewing exceptional beer for their adventurous and discerning customers.

Our Sunday Brew Tour was canceled but the team at The Original Cleveland Brew Tour failed to let us know. We received a PHONE CALL on Wed, saying that the tour may be canceled if no one else signed up. We didn't hear from the company again so we arrived at the pick up point on Sunday as planned. We called several times when the bus never showed and received voice mail each time. We left voicemails. We waited. Finally on our 4th call, someone picked up. She told us that a cancelation EMAIL was sent to my email address but I couldn't find it in my email or junk mail. WHY WOULD YOU CALL ON WED RE: A POSSIBLE CANCELLATION AND THEN NOT CALL AGAIN ON FRIDAY TO CONFIRM THE CANCELLATION?!?!? There was no email. This was poor management. We paid $30 for parking b/c there was a football game downtown that day. Extremely frustrating experience.

I went on the Original Cleveland Brew Tour this weekend and had a phenomenal experience. Matt H. was our tour guide, and he really elevated the experience for us. He was very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable, despite not being a big beer drinker. He was a wealth of information about each brewery, the history of beer and different styles, and Cleveland history. We visited Market Garden, Goldhorn, Brick & Barrel, and Terrestrial, and all were fantastic. We were able to sample a wide variety of beers and learn a lot while we did so. I would highly recommend this tour to both locals and those visiting Cleveland.

Hannah was our tour guide. Such a wealth of beer knowledge she had! There were 12 on our tour. Hannah had us introduce ourselves and we were off! We tasted 15-16 beers. The pours weren't too big nor too small. Hannah knew all about each of beers and chose a good selection of ales, lagers and IPAs. The meal at the second brewery was a choice of traditional burger, spicy chicken burger or vegan burger. All served with a healthy serving of fries and accompanied by a beer Hannah said would complement the meal! Definitely would recommend going on this tour if you like beer or if you just want to learn about and try new beer.

Highly recommend! We were visiting from Cincinnati and wanted to expand on our fun Cincy brewery experiences. This was perfect! Learned a lot about the city. Met some great people and tried some awesome places! Be warned - there is no shortage of beer!! Matt, our tour guide, was awesome, knowledgeable, and really made the whole experience even more fun!

The tour and the bar at market garden was the highlight. The low light would be brick and barrel. They only had one beer made there. The rest were from Other breweries. The beer at brick and barrel was not That good. I wish the tour guide talked louder for those in the back.

We had a rocky start due to some car issues, but the tour guide and the employees were very accommodating! They even bought us a free beer while we waited. They were very educated on the process of beer brewing and just Cleveland in general. They were a true joy to be around. We are so happy we decided to it! We would definitely recommend it!
