Joel was great. Very engaging and very informative. We learned a lot about the history of the mob and how it functioned. Would definitely recommend the tour.

We had a wonderful experience learning about the top 5 Mafia families and walking all around Little Italy. Joel is an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. He was very entertaining in his way of delivering the information. We would definitely recommend this tour.

If you love gangsters this is for you. If you don't, you'll be a little lost. So much information on NYC criminals it can feel a little overwhelming. But the walking tour through Little Italy and Chinatown was great. A great chance to explore and learn about the neighborhoods. Joel provides a ton of information, plus recommendations on where to go and what to eat.

Robin was great - full of knowledge and facts, she had a picture book so it helps you to put names to faces, locations and helps you to imagine how little Italy would have looked in the past 30 years and the feel of the neighbourhood during this time. We managed to visit the old St Patricks church which was beautiful inside. Robin was also very entertaining and kept our 15yr daughter amused and managed to hold her attention for the 2hr tour, only downside is that Little Italy is shrinking, now only two blocks and the tour was not long enough!

Our tour guide Joel was immensely well-informed about mob history in the East Village / Lower East Side. Fascinating stories were mingled with a number of interesting sights.

What a great way to learn about the history, tangle of webs and the crime in the city involving the mob. All the names from the main five families, and their popular hangouts are discussed. Our tour guide Joel was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging! What a great way to be a tourist in your own city for a day!
